Ankle and Foot Conditions #2

Foreign Body

Foreign bodies over the years have become frankly mundane. Pins, glass, and wood are so typical. Patients need to get more inventive.

No joking aside, foreign bodies are a major problem. Even when the material is removed infection, scarring, chronic pain even development of a wart are only a handful of the lasting side effects.

The amazing thing is how many people who get xrays and never realized they had a pin in their foot.
